Super 8 Becomes Less Secret Via Leaked Trailer

You gotta love modern technology.

Sure, a teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's shrouded-in-secrecy film Super 8 may be previewing before Iron Man 2 this weekend, but thanks to what seems to be the handiwork of a moviegoer armed with a camera phone, the good old Internet now has it for all to see.

While some deets on the project have been revealed, this relatively short clip doesn't really provide too much more—except, of course, a feeling of pure excitement for next summer already!

Nutrisystem Dumps Lawrence Taylor

425.taylor.aidala.lc.050610Lawrence Taylor's out of jail. And that's about the only good news for the former Dancing With the Stars twinkle toes.

Turns out Nutrisystem doesn't think having an accused rapist on the payroll is a good idea (go figure) and has dumped the NFL Hall of Famer as its pitchman.

"We are shocked and saddened by these very serious allegations against Lawrence Taylor," the company says in a statement. "Based on the severity of these allegations, Nutrisystem has made the decision to sever our relationship with Mr. Taylor effective immediately."

Taylor, who shed 35 pounds on the program, pleaded innocent to one felony count of third-degree rape and a misdemeanor count of patronizing a prostitute. But apparently that whole innocent-until-proven-guilty business doesn't count when it comes to attracting customers.

"We are deeply protective of the reputation of our brand," says Nutrisystem.

Before Taylor's svelte mug popped up on a police booking sheet, the famed footballer had been one of a number of thin-happy celebrities whose likeness graced Nutrisystem's website.

Soon after news broke that Taylor had been taken into custody early Thursday for allegedly beating and raping a 16-year-old runaway-turned-prostitute, the company wasted no time yanking the linebacker from its lineup.

Taylor, meanwhile, posted the requisite $75,000 bond Thursday evening and was released from an upstate New York lockup.

His wife, Lynette, had been scheduled to appear last night on Larry King Live but bailed at the last minute, presumably on the advice of her husband's lawyers.

Makes sense. We doubt she withdrew to hold a welcome-home party.

David Boreanaz's Wife: "I'm Still Angry"

300.bergman.boreanaz.lc.090109By now, we all know David Boreanaz is no angel.

His wife has no illusions about it, either.

"I'm not saying everything's OK," Jaime Bergman tells People. "I'm still angry. I'm still mad. I am still hurt."

But like her mother, she's still hopeful that her marriage is salvageable.

"It took a crisis, it took infidelity to get us off our asses and work for what we want," she says.

"When we got married, we had an unbelievable foundation that we've never forgotten," the Bones-head admits. "But it's been damaged."

The couple, who have two children—Jaden, 8, and Bella, 8 months—wed in November 2001.

"What's working for us [is] taking our time, moment to moment, day to day," Jaime says. "We do the best we can. That's all we can do."

Taylor Swift Puts Her Money Where Her Heart Is

300.swift.taylor.lr.013110Taylor Swift wasn't just giving lip service earlier this week when she expressed her prayers for the folks in Tennessee.

She really is concerned about the flood victims down south, to the tune of half a million dollars, E! News confirms.

The country cutie announced her donation to various relief organizations during a special remote appearance on Thursday night's Flood Relief With Vince Gill and Friends, a telethon held on Nashville's WSMV.

"Please keep Nashville in your heart," she tweeted on Wednesday. "Seeing a picture of the Grande Ole Opry halfway underwater was a kind of heartbreak I can't describe."

Swift, 20, moved to the country music capital when she was 14. She was lucky—her family's homes suffered no damage due to the storm.

Clean-up and repair in the three southern states hit by the flood is estimated to top $1 billion.

Survivor Insider: Mutiny Sends Two More Overboard

425.ab.Survivor.Woodcock.050610Just when we thought it was safe to go back in the water, another Survivor tsunami comes along to knock us on our asses.

In tonight's double elimination episode of Heroes vs. Villains, the minority knew they were on a sinking ship. The only thing that could save them? Mutiny aboard the U.S.S. Villains. And that could never happen.

Could it?

Aye, mateys!

OK, Candice we saw coming.  No one likes a traitor, so it wasn't a huge surprise that she was tossed overboard before Colby and Pirate Rupert.

But...Danielle?! A Villain walking the plank? Raise your Hantz for Russell everybody, because--love him or hate him--he is the captain of this ship again.

Lady Gaga's American Idol Performance Was Wrong, All Wrong!

Lady Gaga isn't bothering with the poker face. She's very obviously annoyed.

The scene-stealing diva lashed out at Fox via Twitter Thursday, accusing the network of shoddy editing work when it came to her much-heralded performance on American Idol last night.
